Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall
Monday 24 February - Saturday 7 March 2020
10 days of performances and events celebrating the work of William Shakespeare.
To tie-in with the Royal Shakespeare Company’s visit to Nottingham in 2020, Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall are delighted to present their very own Celebrating Shakespeare Festival, taking over the Theatre Royal for 10 days of activities and events.
Centred around the RSC’s performances of Measure for Measure, As You Like It and The Taming of the Shrew, the festival will be packed with an assortment of interactive workshops, mini lectures, storytelling sessions and musical performances to surprise and delight, all celebrating Shakespeare’s enduring legacy.
From professional development workshop with the fearless HandleBards and a comedy improv night, to fascinating talks with Shakespeare scholars and RSC Artistic Director, Gregory Doran, there’s plenty to sample. And if you ever wondered what the Bard has to do with Bingo, now’s your chance to find out!
