A free family activity
The Wise Owl Walk is a trail spanning throughout Nottingham's city centre and is perfect for everyone but may be a particularly fun day out for families. The goal is to find all of the statues of the Wise Owls which are placed around the city. To find them you'll be given a map and some hints to help you find them but you'll need a keen eye to discover the exact locations. Every Wise Owl is completely unique and has been designed by a roster of talented artists. There are 10 owls to discover around the city, complete with informative plaques detailing the inspiration behind the artwork.
How to take part:
The Wise Owl Walk is simple, fun and completely free of charge to take part in. To get started all you need is a map and the spirit of adventure! Pick up a free map from any of the venues below or download a copy by clicking here.
You can pick up the map at Wildwood Nottingham, Cineworld, Cafe Sobar, Jojo Maman Bebe, Krispy Kreme, Scribbler, Tesco Express (Shakespeare Street),Sharps Bedrooms & Home Office. More venue will be revealed soon!
Can you unravel the mystery of the secret sentence?
Every owl is the proud owner of a single letter. Find them all and crack the code to reveal the secret sentence of Nottingham's Wise Owls. There's a space on the map to take note of your findings.
