Christmas Tales with The Woolly Tellers

The Woolly Tellers present an evening of Christmas tales at the beautiful Victorian music hall, The Malt Cross. These guys are cracking storytellers, and we can guarantee you’ll appreciate the classic and homely nature of an evening listening to their yarns. A Classic Crags Christmas

Creswell Crags | 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th 17th December 2017

You really have to make an effort to get outdoors at this time of year, but if you wrap up cosy a walk in the country is the perfect way to take advantage of the atmospheric winter season. Pick up some toasty roasted chestnuts and have a wander around the lake at Creswell Crags. After poking your nose in the ancient caves, you can warm up in the museum with some festive crafts, meet Santa,  and enjoy a live brass band performance.

Santa Special Train Journeys
 


Great Central Railway, Ruddington | 26th November – 24th December 2017

We think this ninety minute steam train journey through the beautiful local countryside will be a delightfully nostalgic treat for both children and adults. Enjoy seasonal refreshments, a gift for each child and the chance to tell Santa what you’d like for Christmas. Could this be one of the most special Christmas events in all of Nottinghamshire?!

New Art Exchange | Saturday 9 December 2017 from 12noon – 5pm

Take the tram down to the Forest Recreation ground and finish up your festive shopping at New Art Exchange’s Craft & Culture Fair. Showcasing the work of designers and makers from throughout Nottinghamshire, the day also includes live music and performances, street food and the opportunity to check out the current exhibition ‘Sounds Like Her’!
