The Magnificent Spiegeltent

Gilded Merkin Burlesque at the Magnificent Spiegletent - Visit Nottinghamshire
Friday 17 & Saturday 18 May | Old Market Square | Tickets: Prices vary by show

The beautiful, century old dancehall has been gracing Nottingham’s Old Market Square with its presence since early May. While we’ll be sad to see it return to its travels, we’re very excited to send it off in style with some brilliant events lined up for its closing weekend. On Friday night The Gilded Merkin: Burlesque and Cabaret present an eclectic evening of thrilling entertainment, bringing together old Hollywood glamour, vaudeville, comedy, music, circus and more.

Start your Saturday off the right way with a Yogalates Workshop, or try your hand at plate spinning, give hula hooping a spin and play with poi at the Circus Skills Workshop, before the hilarious comedy show The Worst Little Warehouse in London takes to the stage. On Saturday night - for the Spiegletent’s final send off - things will be taking a slide into the surreal for Cabaret of Dreams, an immersive evening of art, distorted drag and incredible live music.
