Open Air Theatre
Grab a picnic blanket and some tasty treats ready for an atmospheric evening of theatre set against the stunning backdrop of Wollaton Hall. Their impressive programme of outdoor theatre continues this weekend with a performance of the classic childhood tale of secrecy and curiosity, The Secret Garden. When young Mary Lennox is sent to her uncle’s house in the countryside, she begins a journey of discovery where mysteries lurk around every corner and new friendships are found in unexpected places. This heart-warming tale of redemption and the power of hope is enchanting to children and adults alike. |

Live Music
What's Love Got To Do With It? is the joyous new show celebrating the music of Tina Turner. On Saturday evening audiences at the Theatre Royal Concert Hall can expect a night of high energy, feel-good rock-and-roll featuring Tina's greatest hits performed by the amazing vocal talent of Elesha Paul Moses (The Voice, X Factor) accompanied by a ten-piece live band. The following evening, empress of soul, Gladys Knight will be taking to stage to perform her magnificent Motown hits, including the absolute classic Midnight Train To Georgia. |
