Local history enthusiasts and those with an interest in archaeology are in for a treat this weekend. Get hands on handling historic artefacts, delve deeper at one of the short talks by experts in the field, take part in craft activities and pursue the displays to discover the work of various archaeological societies and groups.

Local improv heroes MissImp are back this weekend with a fantastic, fantasy themed show of stories, all created on the spot from audience suggestions. Four Far Away will concoct a tail of adventure and intrigue, mystery and magic - all with a sci-fi twist, while Mischief Managed Improv will create a story set in the wizarding world of spells and fantastical beasts. If you’re feeling inspired you can join the performers on stage for the last act of this three-part spectacular, for their Open Jam.
