What's On This Weekend in Nottinghamshire | Visit Nottinghamshire
There’s a chill in the air and across the county things are beginning to look and feel rather festive as we approach advent, and here at Visit Nottinghamshire we're fully embracing the Christmas spirit. If you’ll be visiting the city on Saturday to do a little shopping or experience the delights of Winter Wonderland, be sure to stop by historic shopping arcade The Exchange for their much loved annual lights switch on event. In addition to seeing the beautiful tree soaring into the dome of the grade II listed building, there’ll be live music and one lucky visitor will walk away with £200 of Exchange vouchers!

Throughout December some of our most scenic country houses & castles and ducal estates are transformed with Christmas magic and host some fabulously festive events, including Wollaton Hall and Bolsover Castle to name but a few. Read on for five of our favourite festive events and don't forget to have a look at our Christmas and What’s On pages as well as the Things to Do section for lots more ways to spend your weekend.
