Nottingham Contemporary | Friday 13 March – Sunday 15 March | Opening times vary | Free entry

It’s a great weekend to visit Nottingham Contemporary art gallery, who are hosting a celebration of all things print. Kicking off on Friday evening there’ll be a special preview evening between 6 - 8.30pm followed by a DJ set from BSXY in the Café Bar. Browse the stalls by a wide range of printmakers, illustrators and galleries from across the UK and get stuck in making your own print using Letterpress and a traditional Adana press with Leicester Print Workshop, or screen print a tote bag with local print masters Dizzy Ink (£8 charge).

Round off your visit with a wander around their current exhibitions - Denzil Forrester's colourful large-scale paintings which illustrate the nightclubs of 1980s London and present-day Jamaica, Diane Simpson's sculptures inspired by the history of clothing and architecture and Sung Tieu’s installation which explores sound as a weapon – or check out their Zine Library for more print-based inspiration.
