Important Update

At 5pm on Monday 16 March, the UK Government issued a statement advising people to avoid unesseary travel and all social venues such as pubs and theatres. In light of this please take upmost precaution if you decide to take part in any social events. Whatever you get up to this weekend, we hope you have a great time, stay safe and keep your spirits up.

One weekend ends and another is just around the corner, but in these uncertain times it's increasingly tricky to make plans. Here at Visit Nottinghamshire the safety of visitors is our highest priority and we want to make sure any information we give out is up to date with the latest advice from the government regarding how to stay safe. At the time of publication no advice to avoid public gatherings have been issued, and all the events listed below are scheduled to go ahead as planned. If this changes we'll do our best to update this blog to reflect this as soon as possible. We'll also be creating a dedicated page on this website with information on Covid-19 and how this may affect your travel plans to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and any events which have been cancelled.

If you are planning to get out and about this weekend, take a look at our guide to what's coming up in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
