Easter Activity Trail at Belvoir Castle

Friday 1  - Monday 18 April | Belvoir Castle | 11am – 5pm | Tickets from £5 - £18 (FREE for Under 4s)

Celebrate Easter at Belvoir Castle with an adventure and journey through their formal gardens, solving Easter activity puzzles along the way. You may even bump into the Easter bunny and his friends as you ramble amongst the colourful trail of spring blooms!

Once they’ve completed the outdoor trail, each child can collect an easter egg prize at the end of their visit, with dairy-free alternatives available.

An Easter Activity Trail worksheet and easter egg are included in a child's Garden Entry Ticket, but an upgrade to a Castle & Garden Entry Ticket will also include the chance to take part in free craft activities in the Castle's Old Kitchen and a free-flow tour around the Castle's opulent State Rooms.

Break away from the screen and experience live entertainment like never before with Champions Of Magic. An evening of impossible illusions and spectacular special effects, it has been described as ‘The Avengers of magic’, and the perfect night out for the whole family.

The talented cast will showcase incredible interactive magic stunts including a daring escape from Houdini’s water torture cell, a mind-blowing prediction that must be seen to be believed, levitating high above the stage and a finale beyond explanation.

The show happens all around the arena and will include spectacular illusions that can’t be seen anywhere else.

This award-winning outdoor market has finally returned for 2022! With over 70 stalls offering high-quality crafts, produce and provisions, there is something for everyone at this fantastic market.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll surrounded by the lively atmosphere while picking up speciality foods, plants, handmade crafts, household products and more. Several of the stallholders are from the Village themselves, meaning there is no better way to support the local community after a tough couple of years.

Once you’ve enjoyed the Market, make a day of it and head up the high street for more independent shopping. Visit one of the fascinating local history museums, take a stroll around the country park or pop into one of the pubs for a refreshing pint and a bite to eat.

This is the perfect excuse to get the whole family out and about and active in nature and you can even make a day of it. Bring a picnic or stop by the Sherwood Pines Café for a bite to eat.

Jennifer's Body + Horror Shorts

The Nottingham Horror Collective and Mayhem Film Festival are teaming up for a special screening to celebrate women in the horror genre. Join Broadway Cinema for the cult comedy horror Jennifer's Body (15) directed by Karyn Kusama, which stars a demonically possessed Megan Fox.

Before the feature film, they'll be kicking things off with a selection of Mayhem-curated horror shorts by women directors including Natalie Erika James, Prano Bailey-Bond and Kate Dolan.

This is the perfect event for any horror fan or cinema lover, or if you’re looking for something a little different to do in Nottingham. Please note you must 15 or over to join this event.
