May Half Term and Jubilee Weekend at Clumber Park

A National Trust property, Clumber Park is open daily all year. This wide expanse of parkland, farmland and woods covers over 3800-acres (1500 hectares) and was once the seat of the Dukes of Newcastle.

This May Half Term and Jubilee Weekend, they are hosting a variety of fun things to do including a Sports Day Weekend, Giant Jigsaw, Lawn Games, and Into the Forest activities including axe throwing and archery.

Make Me Roar - Comedy Night

Friday 27th May | Malt Cross | 7pm - 10.20pm | Tickets £8 (£10 on the door)

Book your place for an evening of non-stop comedy featuring an all-female line-up of comedians – and all for a great cause!

Host Jo-Bradley-Fortune takes to the Malt Cross stage joined by Kitty, Rosie, Anna-Marie, Lesley, Marie and Tej, six funny women putting the FUN into fundraising for YMCA Robin Hood Group's Ys Girls programme.

This event is open to women and their male guests. Ticket sales, raffle items and donations from the event will help raise funds and awareness of YMCA’s Y’s Girls Mentoring programme, which supports vulnerable girls (aged 9-14) who are at risk of developing mental health issues.

Vitality Blast Cricket at Trent Bridge

Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, is a world-famous cricketing landmark. Recognised as one of the finest cricket venues across the globe, it has acted as host for county and Test cricket since 1838 and is the world's third oldest Test ground.

This May they are hosting the Vitality Blast Cricket, which will see an Outlaws line-up packed with international quality players like Alex Hales and Samit Patel will be looking to put on a show for spectators once again this year.

They are hosting two of the fixtures this weekend, meaning you can see Notts Outlaws v Worcestershire Rapids on Friday and Notts Outlaws v Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday.

Em-Con 2022

Em-Con returns for 2022 with a show that’s set to be out of this world. There’ll be the usual mix of celebrity guests, cos-players, attractions, traders and Film & TV props coming together for the most exciting show in the galaxy, and the biggest pop-culture event in the East Midlands!

1940s Weekend at Belvoir Castle

Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May | Belvoir Castle | 11am - 4pm | Tickets: Adult £22, Child £10, Family £55

Belvoir Castle's very own vintage weekend is back for its second year running on the 28th & 29th May 2022! Swing bands, jazz singers, re-enactors, living history encampments and classic cars will be taking over the Castle's cannonade and front lawn for a weekend of entertainment suitable for all the family.

Jive to jazz beats, sing along to your favourite wartime records, indulge in a delectable Afternoon Tea and immerse yourself in the magnificent history of Belvoir Castle. The Castle's State Rooms will be open for visitors to explore, as well as our expansive 16,000 acre grounds.
