Sister venue to Nottingham hotspots the Hockley Arts Club and Penny Lane, Das Kino is one of Nottingham's coolest bars.
This stylish venue is characterised by an industrial-style interior, vintage furniture and neon lights, and you can even get active with a game of Ping Pong, Table Tennis or Wiff Waff (whatever you want to call it!). They have olympic standard tables available throughout the day, so why not book one?
Whether you’re after a bite to eat at lunch, chilled out after-work drinks or your big night out, then Das Kino is the place to be. With a reputation for seriously good pizza, burgers, sides and snacks, Das Kino is great for either a quick lunch or an indulgent street food feast with friends. A talented team of bartenders and mixologists conjure up a great selection of cocktails, special gin and tonics as well as quirky craft beers and much more.
Party animals who aren't quite ready to call it a night can head downstairs to late-night bar Das Disko. Opening every Saturday for table tennis, drinks, food and dancing - just look for the giant neon sign and flashing red light bulb corridor.
Previously a private party and special event space, the basement now has a 'disco' vibe with new tables, booths and, of course, ping pong tables. Tables (of both kinds) can be booked in advance or revellers can simply rock up on the night.
