Fox and Hounds | Visit Nottinghamshire

About

This popular family owned establishment is an up to date version of the traditional English country pub. Well known for its home-cooked British food, real ales and excellent wine there’s always a warm welcome inside and sunny days draw visitors to the huge beer garden and terraces. Sunday Lunch and the Fish & Chips are particularly popular.

Situated in the heart of historic Nottinghamshire, the Fox & Hounds is an absolute must for visitors to Sherwood Forest, Newstead Abbey, Centre Parks, Rufford Abbey and Clumber Park. With ample parking and lots of room, all sizes of parties can be catered for.

The pub was again awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in 2017 as well as an East Midlands in Bloom Gold Award for the best hotel/pub garden or display in 2014.
