Relax in the grand setting of the Garden Tea House and enjoy a selection of homemade dishes and sweet treats, where possible made using produce and ingredients from their very own Walled Kitchen Garden.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing lunch with friends and family, a sweet treat or Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, there is always something to tempt you in the Garden tea house.

You are welcome to drop into the Garden tea house without booking. However, booking for Sunday lunch or for large parties is advisable. You can call 01909 544 929 to reserve your table. Friends meeting for a stroll around the Garden or a walk and coffee are welcome to drop in without worrying about muddy boots!

Head Chef Rob works closely with Clumber Park’s Head Gardener to get the best seasonal ingredients and access to ‘outlawed vegetables’ that you just won’t see in the supermarket, to create daily garden inspired salads, puddings and lunch specials.

The Walled kitchen garden is home to 130 different types of Rhubarb which has been awarded national collection status, the chefs love to show this off in a range of rhubarb inspired dishes on their menu. They also house a nationally recognised local apples collection, be sure to try our sumptuous Apple and rhubarb crumble, to finish of your Sunday roast.

Afternoon Tea

For that special occasion, why not try the delicious afternoon tea, available from midday for just £12.95 per head. Enjoy a selection of freshly cut sandwiches, scones with preserve and clotted cream, and chef's choice of cakes accompanied by a pot of tea or coffee.

The Garden Tea House offers a unique option for your function venue. The sympathetic refurbishment of a Victorian Villa to a stylish restaurant is fully equipped to accommodate private party be it for business or pleasure.

Formerly home to generations of Head Gardeners, this historic house, situated in the heart of Clumber Park, overlooks the Walled Kitchen Garden.  It has been lovingly refurbished to create a relaxing space with the feel of stepping into a comfortable, elegant home.

A beautiful outdoor eating area has been created within a private, fragrant garden in which herbs and edible flowers are inter-planted within traditional herbaceous borders.  In summer months refreshments can be served outside, weather permitting.

The Garden Tea house serves a seasonal British menu. Our Chef creates the finest homemade dishes using local ingredients, many picked fresh from the Walled Kitchen Garden
