The Ram dates back to the 15th century when a coaching inn opened on the site where the current 18th century, Georgian building now stands.
Offering the perfect place for people to meet and rest whilst enjoying great food and wine.
The Ram has since been restored to its former, elegant Georgian glory, in the heart of the historic town of Newark, close to Newark Castle.
The Food
The menu has been lovingly created by their Kitchen Team, sourcing the ingredients locally from bespoke suppliers and top quality producers. With a wide variety of mains, pizzas, tapas and desserts, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Sunday Roast
Every Sunday they serve a traditional Sunday Roast. Featuring award winning produce from Owen Taylor’s Butchers, locally sourced vegetables, and proper Yorkshire Puddings. Please book to avoid disappointment.
