The Southbank Bar in Nottingham City is the perfect place to enjoy all live sports, with 22 4K screens and a 155” 4K rear view projector as well as private booths, an innovative darts oche, American pool and a PS4 all available for hire. The bar is a premium live music venue with live music and DJs five nights a week as well as special ticketed events featuring bands and stars covering screen, stage and sports.
A US-inspired menu, including breakfast, is served from 9am until 9pm giving workers, shoppers, tourists and sports fans a brilliant new option to refuel during the week and weekend.
The 1998 Club is the underground VIP venue beneath Southbank City in Friar Lane just off Old Market Square. The Club pays homage to the original Southbank Bar on Trent Bridge which opened in 1998 and many of the original bits of memorabilia that hung on the walls of the old venue now grace the new bar's walls.
The 1998 is purpose built to offer a full VIP hospitality experience - the same quality audio and visual set up as the main bar, but in an exclusive and comfortable setting.
The bar has opened downstairs as a VIP exclusive setting to watch live sports, all major sports will be shown in the 1998 Club with a corporate hospitality feel e.g Doors at 6pm, dinner at 7pm, kick-off at 8pm etc. Tables are bookable in advance with entrance fees including food from the premium restaurant menu as standard as well as full table service for the whole event.
