The Visitor Gateway aims to reach more people than ever through new films showcasing the best the district has to offer and interactive touchpads. It also provides all bookings for the Palace Theatre and National Civil War Centre.
Newark has a host of exciting attractions for visitors including, Newark Castle, a lovely cobbled Market Place and the Palace Theatre Newark, as well as interesting walks and Civil War trails so you can really get a feel of the historical significance of our picturesque town.

In Nineteen20 our new all-day cafe bar you’ll find a range of sandwiches and paninis, cakes and treats, and our exclusive blend of coffee, made in conjunction with Forge Roasters, Sheffield. We serve homemade soup and run a bar during all evening theatre performances.
