About

Venue: Arnold Methodist Church

Nottingham features numerous historical sites and commemorative plaques recognising individuals who have made substantial contributions to the city and beyond.

Despite this, recognition of women remains limited; existing records indicate that only 17 monuments and memorials in the city are dedicated to women's achievements.

Sian Trafford, Chair of Nottingham’s Women's History Group, will deliver an in-depth presentation highlighting the lives and accomplishments of these distinguished women. All interested parties are invited to attend this informative event.

Guide Prices

Visitors can attend the talk at the cost of £3
If you wish to join the Arnold Local History Group you can do so also at the annual cost of £10 and entitles you to attend monthly meetings for £1, vote at the AGM and be eligible for election to the committee.
