You may have visited the Mary Potter Health Centre in Hyson Green or taken the Mary Potter tram through Nottingham; or perhaps you were a pupil at St. Mary’s Primary School in Hyson Green or visited the “Mary Potter” Conference Room at Nottingham Trent University. If you’ve ever wondered who Mary Potter was, then why not come and visit the Mary Potter Heritage Centre to learn more about this soon to be Saint of Nottingham!

The Heritage Centre in Nottingham is the place to experience the life story of this indomitable woman; her incredible vision, dedication, and contribution to the poor and needy of Nottingham. Mary Potter founded the Little Company of Mary Sisters in the 19th century in Hyson Green, Nottingham and her legacy has spread to all five continents across the world. Come and explore the unique story of Venerable Mary Potter and the Little Company of Mary Sisters through the many artefacts on display, interactive screens, quotes from her many writings and the legacy of the Little Company of Mary from the Victorian era right through to the present day! Whether you're a history enthusiast, a seeker of inspiration, or simply curious, this event promises something special for everyone.
