Born from a road trip across America’s Southern States, Hickory’s learned all things smokin’ from the very best pitmasters across the region. The menu is the result of 25 trips to over 80 towns and cities across the Southern States – and counting. From smokehouse classics to barbecue favourites, everything is served up by a team of passionate pitmasters, brilliant bartenders and sensational servers. At the heart of it all is warm, authentic Southern hospitality.
The brunch menu offers something for everyone, from Southern-inspired dishes to creative twists on classics, plus a couple of stacked showstoppers. Add freshly brewed coffee or something chilled from the bar, and brunch is done the Hickory’s way.
Served every day until 2pm
Authenticity is absolutely key, and it all starts with the smokers. After all, anything good is worth waiting for. Authentic grain-fed brisket is smoked for up to 16 hours in ‘Ole Hickory’ smokers from Missouri and Southern Pride smokers from Tennessee. These smokers are the heart of the restaurants, so guests are encouraged to make a pitmaster’s day and ask for a tour next time they visit.
The Smokehouse selection is cooked low ‘n’ slow, bringing out deep, authentic flavours inspired by the American South. But it takes more than a smoker to create fall-off-the-bone tenderness. It’s the skill and passion of the pitmasters – all trained in the art of barbecue – that makes the difference.
At Hickory’s there’s a saying: “Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear aprons.” And the pitmasters are the heroes.
The Smokehouse menu celebrates this with stacked trays, generous platters for those who want a bit of everything, and traditional, authentic staples you’d expect to find in any smokehouse in the States.
Not in the mood for something smoked? No problem. The menu also features comforting classics, lighter options and plenty of variety, so everyone leaves happy.
And whatever you do… don’t skip the appetisers or desserts. They’re well worth saving room for.
Midweek just got a whole lot tastier. From Monday to Thursday after 3pm, guests can dig into a not-to-miss exclusive dish inspired by the Smokehouse and beyond. Each day brings something different, offering even more reasons to swing by.
So… which day has your name on it?
Whether it’s after-work drinks, pre-dinner cocktails or a laid-back sip, the neighbourhood bar is the place to be.
From homemade sodas and hard shakes to frozen and signature cocktails, Southern-inspired spritzes, a carefully chosen spirit selection and a wide range of ice-cold beers – there’s something for every taste. Add to that a collection of over 25 bourbons, collected and inspired by sips from Hickory’s travels, and every pour is covered.
What better way to celebrate the end of the week than saying “Thank Hicks it’s Friday” with the sounds of the Deep South and a drink (or two) in hand?
Expect £6 cocktails mixed to perfection, a pint of Driftaway IPA for just £4, a glass of wine for £5, and the ultimate Southern classic non-alcoholic option for £3.
What’s not to love?
The children’s menu has been developed with families in mind, offering appropriately portioned dishes alongside balanced options. From smaller servings of BBQ classics to drinks designed for younger guests, there’s plenty of choice for every small (or big) appetite.
Little guests are a big deal at Hickory’s. With a menu full of familiar favourites, lighter choices and fun treats – plus family-friendly spaces to keep them entertained, including the movie room – it’s a win for grown-ups too.
Every occasion deserves a little Southern love. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, special day or simply an excuse to round up the gang, Hickory’s is the place to celebrate.
Think big tables made for sharing, smoked BBQ built for getting stuck into, drinks for everyone to raise a glass, and an atmosphere that turns good times into great memories. With space for groups, a relaxed family-style vibe and a team that loves being part of big moments, every detail is taken care of so guests can focus on celebrating.
So gather your people, bring your appetite and let the good times roll.
Let’s celebrate… smokehouse style.
All that’s left to do is choose what suits best, settle in and let Hickory’s take care of the rest.
The team can’t wait to welcome you soon.
