From nineteenth-century Germany to modern India, the Third Culture Collective blend entwined musical cultures. Having just toured India to great acclaim, for this performance they'll journey through indo-jazz fusion and western classical, to new music.
Director Kavi Pau's arrangements will showcase everything from Bruckner and Schumann to raga-inspired jazz, offering a seamless blend of East and West.
Carnatic vocalist Ashnaa joins the Collective again after their debut last year, presenting traditional Indian classical music as well as new compositions that blend singing techniques and languages from around the world.
