About

Birdholme is a luxury, family-run, glamping company providing relaxing escapes in Nottinghamshire woodland. Situated just 9.5 miles from Nottingham City Centre, Birdholme Wood is a unique getaway that combines glorious countryside landscapes with the bustling vibrance of nearby city attractions.

Based on 17-acres of private woodland, the Birdholme Glamping site consists of several premium safari lodges. This beautiful accommodation offers supreme comfort and an unforgettable experience in the wild. The exquisite settings are a luxurious way to unwind and enjoy being in nature.

The beautifully-secluded safari lodges have a spacious interior imbued with stand-out features including a rustic log-burner and underfloor heating. Each lodge opens out onto a pristine decking area, complete with hot tub and woodland lake views. With stunning rooms and an impressive authentic exterior, these safari lodges are sought after by visitors from around the world.

Sleeping up to 4 adults and 2 children, several of Birdholme’s lodges are dog-friendly, allowing you to enjoy the adventure with the whole family! Perfect for groups, couples and families, the lodges are ideal for anyone looking for a taste of the wilderness in Nottinghamshire.

With a fully-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and open plan living areas, the lodges are versatile, suiting both groups looking for an isolated self-catering getaway and those who are keen to explore what the rest of Nottinghamshire’s culinary scene has to offer!

Birdholme Wood offers scenic walks and a chance to explore the local natural wildlife including an idyllic pond that the lodges overlook. Or venture further afield to attractions such as Holme Pierrepont Water Sports Centre, Calke Abbey and Belvoir Castle.
