HILLCREST B&B is a comfortable guest home with a welcoming atmosphere in the village of Radcliffe on Trent conveniently located 5 miles east of Nottingham and only 15 minutes from the A1.

Run by Doreen, formerly of The Butts Guest House, Hillcrest will provide you with warm hospitality, comfort and good home cooked food. The quality of breakfast served to guests is of a very high standard as can be seen in the glowing praise found in the B&B’s visitor book.

The Accommodation: The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious offering a selection of single, double, twin and family rooms, with children welcome. Most of the rooms have en-suite facilities including the Ground Floor. Colour televisions, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities can be found in all rooms for your convenience. Travel cots and highchairs can also be organised in advance for those travelling with a family.

Transport & Surrounding Area:

There are many sporting venues and facilities in the area: The world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and The National Water Sports Centre, plus Golf Courses at Radcliffe on Trent and Cotgrave a mere 5 minutes drive away. Two further Golf Courses, Ruddington and Glendale, can be found a 10 minute drive away as well.

The village of Radcliffe has numerous excellent bars and restaurants offering a range of international cuisine and is ideally located midway between the world famous Robin Hood country of Sherwood Forest to the north and the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, with Belvoir Castle, home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, to the east. Many historic villages also surround the B&B such as the market town of Southwell, home to the beautiful Minster Cathedral and The Workhouse in the care of The National Trust.

Nottingham city centre itself boasts a wealth of fabulous bars, restaurants and cafes to visit plus a varied shopping scene ranging from large department stores to the independent designer, craft and local produce shops. Art galleries, museums and of courses the famous Nottingham Castle can all be found in this historic city.

There is a bus stop directly outside the B&B, it takes only 15 minutes to get into Nottingham city centre where visitors will find Nottingham Station for National and International rail, and a network of trams on hand to take visitors from the station around the city.
