The Igloo Hybrid Ho[s]tel brings a new, independent and quirky accommodation option to the heart of the city.
Celebrating Nottingham’s local colour and independent spirit, the Igloo Ho[s]tel offers accommodation for up to 58 guests, housed in a multi-level site in a quiet courtyard off one of the city’s main thoroughfares. An inspired boutique hostel with innovative posh 4 and 6 bed dorms and private double rooms complete with ensuite, Igloo offers guests welcoming touches in a stylish setting, for just a fragment of the price of a city centre hotel.
The communal kitchen, living and courtyard areas are furnished with repurposed pieces of furniture found at flea markets or left behind by the building’s previous tenants, while bedrooms offer comfortable memory foam mattresses, designer bedding and individual themes. Thanks to large-scale wall graphics, guests can wake up with a view of Sherwood Forest or a tropical beach, with no two rooms the same.
Igloo Hybrid is the sister site of the successful Igloo Hostel on Mansfield Road in Nottingham, and an exciting extension for the business The Hybrid really represents everything a ‘ho[s]tel’ should be: fun, quirky, social, safe, clean, affordable, and most importantly something fresh and exciting.
The quiet yet central location means guests can enjoy a comfortable night and a friendly stay, with all of the city’s attractions and great places to eat and drink right on the doorstep.
Prices start from just £18 per night per person for a dorm room and £39 per night per room for a double.
Dorm Beds from £19.00, Sleepbox from £29, Doubles/Twins and ensuites from £34, Triples from £48 and Family Rooms from £60.
