Brackenbury's Britain

Coronavirus update: For the latest information on coronavirus and how it might impact your travel in and around Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including information on which venues and attractions are closed, please visit our Know Before You Go page. We recommend that you check the website and social media of individual venues and attractions when planning a visit.

Brackenbury’s Britain provides a range of personal and personalised experiences of the best that Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands has to offer, benefiting from the owner’s experiences and enthusiasm for British culture and the great outdoors.

Working with individuals, small groups and corporates to offer day walks, tours and holidays focusing on the region.

See Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and the wider region with Brackenbury's Britain and be prepared to be surprised! Having lived in the area all their lives and using an extensive network of connections, they are able to put together tours that will fascinate even those who live here, too.

The possibilities are endless! It might be an hour or two seeing the historic and cultural highlights of Nottingham City Centre. Similarly, visitors who are new to the area might want a County wide trip to see what the wider area has to offer.

Others might want to explore in more depth whether a group of academics or simply a group with a special interest. For example, Nottinghamshire has some particularly fine parish churches as well as Southwell Minster, one of the loveliest small cathedrals in England. The company can put together bespoke tours for virtually any interest accompanied, if wanted, by nationally recognised experts.

2020 of course marks the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Pilgrims setting sail for New England and Nottinghamshire is the home of many of the early settlers. Brackenbury’s Britain is ideally placed to show visitors those hidden buildings and by ways that formed the roots of founding fathers of the United States of America.

Corporate clients come to Brackenbury's Britain for their ability to design days out to suit very specific requirements – whether entertaining overseas guests who want to share some of what our local countryside and cultural heritage has to offer. Or, if looking for an alternative team “away day” out of the office, they can come up with the perfect day but still within easy reach of a client’s base.

Whether you are an individual or a business, all organisation is taken care of. Arranging transport, refreshments and accommodation as well as access to heritage and cultural venues, putting together and managing the whole agenda for you, allowing you to spend your time enjoying the experience with your friends, family or guests.

Call for more information. The team would be delighted to share their enthusiasm for Nottinghamshire and its wider region to show what it really has to offer!
