Gold Star Guides

See Nottingham in a different way with Gold Star Guides!

Passionate about people, places and history, Felicity Whittle is an award-winning tourist guide and founder of Gold Star Guides.  She has been guiding for over a decade and loves helping people discover the interesting stories about the areas where they live, work and visit.

She has created a range of literary and heritage-themed guided walks around Nottingham – and also creates bespoke walks for groups too. There is so much more to the city than Robin Hood! She had great fun developing the Nottingham Booklovers Walk to celebrate Nottingham being acclaimed as a UNESCO City of Literature, and it is now one of her most popular tours.

Felicity is qualified as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide, which is the highest guiding qualification awarded by the Institute of Tourist Guiding.  This means that she is trained, qualified and insured.

Visit the Gold Star Guides website and Facebook page for details of the public walks, or get in touch to arrange a private tour.
