Please note that the gardens have remained open throughout but from Saturday 4 July the two outdoor play areas will be available to use again. The three hard standing tennis courts are also free to use along with the two huge grass mazes by the river. Parking is £3 pay and display cash or card.

A beautiful Victorian stately home located in the Trent Valley near Newark, Nottinghamshire. Nestling within 42 acres of stunning parkland, this historical stately home is one to visit. Kelham Hall has a rich history as the ancestral home of the Manners-Sutton family, along with its use as a theological college for an Anglican Order of Monks. The distinct design features of renowned architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, make it a fascinating place to visit.

The hall and ground tours are well worth coming along for, and there are several family facilities to enjoy all year round. Kelham Hall is also a firm favourite as a renowned Traditional & Asian wedding venue in Nottinghamshire. Kelham Hall also offers a wide selection of annual events and corporate hospitality.
Café & Restaurant – Open daily from 9am to 5pm, serving a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, light lunches, cakes & ice creams. Should you prefer a hearty breakfast or a choice of delicious mains, The Fox Inn, Kelham is only a stones throw away.

Afternoon Teas in the beautiful state rooms are a wonderful way to enjoy some family time, or as a special treat, from £14.95 per person, or upgrade to Sparkling Afternoon Tea for £21.95 per person. (Pre-booking 48 hours prior is essential)

Woodland Trails – Free admission. Explore the beautiful grounds, look out for wildlife, bring a picnic and spend a leisurely afternoon.

Fishing - 12 Hour sessions available daily from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. 24 pegs are available to book along Kelham Hall’s stretch of the River Trent. 24 pegs available from £10 per session & £5 per session to Kelham Hall Fishing Club members. (Please contact reception on 01636 558000 for more information on how to book)

Three Tennis Courts - Available to hire for just £2.50 per person, per hour.

Hall Tours – Fascinating tours of Kelham Hall are available to book, lasting approximately 60 minutes. A friendly member of the team will give you a guided tour of the beautiful hall itself for just £5.00 per person. (Children under 10 are free)

Private group tours are available at other times by prior arrangement. Please book 48 hours prior to your chosen dates.

Children’s Play Area - There is an indoor soft play area in the hall itself, as well as two outdoor play areas. A number of fun events available for all the family take place both in the grounds and in the hall.
