Nottingham Cycle Tours

Nottingham Cycle Tours is a local company, run by local people, set up to provide guided cycle tours in and around the city of Nottingham.

Providing the definitive Nottingham experience for our customers, whether you are a tourist, a student, resident or a business seeking an alternative corporate event, this is a great way to gain a unique perspective into the history and growth of the city through its places, events and people.

Catering for teenage children upwards with basic cycling competence, the tours are 90% off road and offer a unique and fun way to really get to know the city, as well as providing an introduction to the other tourist attractions available. British Cycling Ride Leader trained guides, including emergency first aid qualifications, will highlight the key landmarks to help our customers understand the city’s rich, and sometimes dark, history through the ages.

The tour takes in iconic buildings, modern and Victorian architecture, theatres, the castle, the cycle superhighway, University campus’, Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, riverside, Trent bridges, canal, rail station, caves, Contemporary Art Gallery, National Justice Museum, Lace Market and Hockley, covering famous local people, funny anecdotes and restaurant and bar tips.

All tours start at Nottingham Train Station and finish on Friar Lane in the city. The tours last 2-3 hours, including time for a refreshment break on our return to the city centre, where you will have the opportunity to ask any further questions about our great city.

Ben and Nadeem will share their inside knowledge of the city. Cycling is a great way to see a larger area of the city, offering the ability to plan your visits to other tourist attractions, and so a great activity to undertake in the early part of your stay in Nottingham. And most importantly, provide ample exercise to justify your choice of food and drink later in the day!
