George Thornton Art

About

George Thornton Art, a Nottingham based art gallery exhibiting and selling affordable, contemporary, original works by exceptional local talent and international modern masters!

After many years working as a Michelin Star chef, George Thornton took his first steps into the art world starting out working for a major high street art retailer as a sales assistant. As knowledge and expertise grew he was able to climb the ladder to become area manager. Then in 2010 George Thornton decided to part ways and set up his own independent art gallery in order to pursue his own personal mission, which is to deliver top quality original art at an affordable price. His idea is to bridge that gap between offering interesting and thought provoking art under a commercial umbrella whilst offering excellent customer care.
