White Post Farm | Visit Nottinghamshire

About

White Post Farm is open with safety measures in place (pre-booked tickets only). To pre book your tickets please click on the website link above.

As one of the East Midland’s most popular tourist attractions, White Post Farm can provide a unique day out with plenty of opportunities to get up close to the animals!

The farm covers around 25 acres of land, with more than 3,000 animals! These include classic farm animals such as cows, goats and pigs, as well as some more exotic animals such as llamas, wallabies and reptiles.

The centre encourage you to get stuck in and hands-on with the animals – they love the attention and are all very friendly. You can feed the large animals, stroke the reptiles and even hold some small animals such as chicks and guinea pigs. Depending on the time of year, you can also bottle feed the lambs/goat kids, or feed the beautiful reindeer!

You can let off steam in the outdoor play area, with a large play fort, adventure trail, den building area, trampolines and, of course, our go-kart track! There are also indoor play areas including a sledge run, soft play and sand pit.

White Post Farm is an ideal place to visit even on wet and windy days, as over half of the farm is under cover, phew! Alongside the (very) warm Reptile House, there is an indoor Rodent Room, Incubator Room and Silver Barn, all full of animals ready to meet you.

If you fancy an outdoor stroll, why not take the field walk and see some larger outside animals too? You can feed most of these animals with feed which can be purchased from the entrance gate (£1 per bag)! White Post Farm's field animals include llamas, pigs, donkeys, sheep, cows, goats, deer, wallabies and much more.

You can enjoy exclusive packages such as Farmer Days in which you are paired with a member of the team for the day to shadow and get stuck in. The centre cater this to your requirements and will include any animals you’d like! White Post Farm also offer Birthday Parties which includes yummy food as well as a VIP farm tour with a member of staff.

You can buy everything you need for your small animals from the site's Pet Shop, and anything you need for your scaly pets from the Reptile Shop. There is also a Pet/Reptile Hotel in which you can leave your pet in the capable hands of the animal care team while you enjoy your holiday!

For more information call 01623 882977, visit the website or find White Post Farm on Facebook. White Post Farm is open every day from 10am, but closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
