Permeant displays at the museum include the Dig For Victory Garden around the Anderson Shelter and the World War II ROC (Royal Observer Corps) that will be completed last year. All around the museum's extensive site, there will be a distinctive 1940s feel, with visiting displays / groups set out both under cover and outside. These displays typically include: vintage vehicles (cars and military vehicles; local history groups; variety of themed wartime trade stalls; and will feature regular performances during the weekend by singers performing 1940s era songs.

Visitors are encouraged to enter into the '1940s spirit' by attending in period costume. Such participants will be admitted at a discounted admission rate over the weekend.
