About

A Skull in Connemara at Nottingham Playhouse - Friday 22 May - Saturday 6 June 2015

A pitch-black comedy by Martin McDonagh.

Mick Dowd’s wife died seven years ago. An accident it was, so they said. But now the local cemetery’s full; it’s time for a clear-out, and as the spades dig down into the earth of Connemara, might it be more than just bones they find? Might the secrets of seven years ago be exhumed as well?

From the Quentin Tarantino of the stage, the writer of In Bruges and Seven Pschopaths, this uproarious comedy digs beneath the tranquil surface of life in rural Ireland.

Directed by Nottingham Playhouse Associate Director Fiona Buffini.
Designed by Linbury Prize-winner Madeleine Girling.

Please be advised that there is strong language in this show.
