FREE Exhibition and Events
To mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War, The Arnold Local History Group present an exhibition from Saturday 3rd - Friday 30th November remembering the brave solidiers that went to war from Arnold and the surrounding villages and exploring the impact of wwar on our small town.
You are also invited to a series of talks around the WWI theme from a local perspective on Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th November, on these days you will be able to browse the displays and and take part in discussions with guest speakers.
The event will be opened by MP vernon Coaker at 11am on Saturday 3rd November.
All talks will be given in Arnold Library meeting room with the main exhibition to be housed in the library exhibition space.
All events and the exhibition are free of charge to come along to.
