Over 16 years old only. Must be physically fit and not afraid of heights.
Accessible only by a ladder leading down from the beer cellars, this tour will take you around the sub caves of The Bell Inn, which date from the medieval times. Few people have dared to the entire complex beneath the Bell Inn and this tour is not for the timid!
If you dare descend the ladder you will and enter a world of monks and illegal gambling, learn the story of the formidable Mrs Jackson and walk the caves where the Jackson family stockpiled alcohol to get through the World War II.
Although every possible step has been taken for your safety you undertake, this tour entirely at your own risk.
If you show signs of having been drinking prior to the tour you will not be allowed to take part.
Please bring a torch, and wear sensible shoes. Please also wear warm and comfortable clothes.
