Beer & Cheese Tasting Session at The School of Artisan Food

About

19 May, 30 June, 4 August, 8 September, 13 October & 10 November 2019  | 12.45pm - 3pm
The School of Artisan Food
Tickets: £39 per person

From the nutty, caramel aromas found in both aged cheese and stouts to the relationship between rich barley and our favourite blues, you’ll discover a variety of mouth-watering combinations during this afternoon tasting session.

Claire Monk and Katy Fenwick will guide you through your beer and cheese tasting experience. Claire Monk is the Head brewer at Welbeck Abbey Brewery who is passionate about her craft and is a very creative brewer and Katy Fenwick is the Schools dairy expert who spent just under ten years at Neal’s Yard Dairy.

You will sample a wide selection of artisan cheeses from across Britain, paired with a range of hand-crafted beers from Welbeck Abbey Brewery.

The School is based in the heart of Sherwood Forest on the Welbeck Estate in North Nottinghamshire. There are many lovely places to stay nearby if you require accommodation or we can help you book a taxi.

Cheese tasted on this course may be produced with raw milk and animal rennet, please contact us for details.

"Great short course. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable young brewer and cheese maker led the course. They were terrific. Learnt a lot in a short time in a great venue."
