The Nottingham Ceilidh Club has lots of new dates in 2020!
Ceilidhs (pronounced "Kay-lay"), are enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl. People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between. House band, the Blue Kettle Ceilidh band will be playing.
- You don't need to be a member of the Ceilidh club to join in the fun.
- This is a family friendly event so kids are welcome to join in.
- Wear something comfortable to dance in.
- You don't need to know what to do – the dances will be called and what you need to do will be explained as you go along. There are lots of friendly folk to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing.
- Dancing starts at 8pm.
- Charge of £5 each to cover the cost of the hall.
- No need to book or buy a ticket in advance. Just rock up.
