In Nottingham for the weekend? Come and join in the craic.
In-person ceilidh dancing to recorded music with a caller to help you through the dances - you don't need to be a member of the Ceilidh club to join in the fun.
Free admission, no need to book or buy in advance. Just rock up and join in the dancing.
Ceilidhs (pronounced "Kay-lea") are enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl.
People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between
Wear something comfortable to dance in.
You don't need to know what to do –I'll be calling the dances and explain what you need to do as you go along. There are lots of friendly folks to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing.
