From her childhood stage career, the fame that followed her appearance in The Wizard Of Oz and the many triumphs, tribulations and eventual tragedy of her personal life, Judy Garland remains one of cinema's greatest icons.

Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London, looks at Garland's extraordinary life and distinguished career, illustrated with clips and slides from every facet of her work. Followed by a screening of Vincente Minnelli's endlessly enchanting, luscious Technicolor treat, arguably Judy Garland's greatest screen achievement and the very best cure for the winter blues.

DIRECTED BY: Vincente Minnelli
CAST: Judy Garland, Margaret O'Brien
YEAR: 1944
