Bromley House Library Tours
Beginning 4th March, tours take place on Wednesdays 2:30pm - 4pm

Bromley House Library has operated continuously as an independent subscription library since 1816, first in Carlton Street and then from 1822 in Bromley House.
You can join an extensive guided tour of Bromley House Library, seeing the reading rooms and the extensive collection of 50,000 books, manuscripts and other items, including numerous special and treasured collections. A skilled tour guide will take you round the library, learning both the history of the house and the library. Where possible you will also be able to view the garden before or after the tour. There will be time to ask questions and purchase Bromley House Library merchandise after the tour. You are welcome to take photographs during the tour.
