The Grange Hall
£8 (£10 on the door)
Ceilidhs (pronounced "Kay-lea") are enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl. You don't need to know what to do –I'll be calling the dances and explaining what you need to do as you go along.
You don't need to know what to do as Schuggie will be calling all the dances and explaining what you need to do as you go along. There are lots of friendly folks to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing.
People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between. Just wear something comfortable to dance in.
BYOB Bring your own drinks, glasses and snack. No bar at this one but we will have water (no charge for the water ), juice and biscuits available. No band, with recorded music. Very ceilidh retro!
You don't need to be a member of the Nottingham Ceilidh Club to join in the fun.
Please note:
- Ceilidhs will be recorded to improve the dancer's experience ie how I call the dances, and to advertise future ceilidh along with improving dancers' experience. If you don't want to be included in any of these promotional videos, please let me know on the night.
- You can pay by cash or card
