FREE Cool Science workshops are back for more science fun at Green's Windmill! Led by retired physics teacher Cool Pete experiments with all manner of science based fun with an educational twist. A variety of science themed topics will be covered and include sessions of Cool Pete's Liquid Nitrogen demos. It's free to take part and there's no need to book, just turn up. 

Workshop leader Pete Wearn is a STEM ambassador and his Cool Science offers inspiring and engaging science workshops with plenty of audience participation.
 

Friday 29th July – ‘The Solar System and Beyond’
The topic of the day is ‘The solar system and beyond’ and will include one session of Cool Pete’s Liquid Nitrogen demos in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
These fun and interactive experiments will take place between 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Wednesday 17th August  – ‘Electricity & Magnetism’
The topic of the day is ‘Electricity & Magnetism’ and will include one session of Cool Pete’s Liquid Nitrogen demos in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
These fun and interactive experiments will take place between 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Wednesday 24th August – ‘Sound & Light’
The topic of the day is ‘Sound & Light’ and will include one session of Cool Pete’s Liquid Nitrogen demos in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
These fun and interactive experiments will take place between 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.
