Old Market Square

The Cricket World Cup is coming to Nottingham and as part of the celebrations, the city is hosting the UK's first Fanzone in its Old Market Square - the UK's second largest outdoor public space.

The Fanzone will feature live broadcasting of the tournament fixtures, cricket activities for the whole family, a range of multi-cultural food, music and entertainment, bringing you closer to the action than ever before.

There will also be a bar, DJ, CWC merchandise and an information point, plus beanbags, deckchairs, pallet chairs scattered around Old Market Square meaning you can pitch up for an entire day and enjoy everything on offer!

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will be hosting an exciting Street Cricket programme at the Fanzone, which will include: 

•    Fun 30 minute sessions with staff and coaches 
•    Structured and drop in sessions for all ages and abilities
•    Disability cricket – Showcase Table Cricket, Softball Cricket, County VI and Deaf Squads
