Crosswords Spoken Word Open Mic
The Malt Cross
2nd Wednesday Every Month, 7:30pm

Crosswords is a spoken word event held in the caves underneath Nottingham's Victorian music hall The Malt Cross. Expect poetry, prose, storytelling, a cappella singing, monologues and more, with a featured performer each week to round off the evening.

Bring your work to perform or just come along to listen - everyone's welcome! All ages and abilities are welcome, with no obligation to perform.

Arrive at 7:30pm on the night to book your short open mic slot. Entry to Crosswords is £2 per person, and refreshments will be available (for anyone who needs a little glass of something before taking to the stage).

CrossWords is hosted by local poet Leanne Moden, and supported by the Malt Cross.
