D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum

The museum, which is not normally open on a Sunday, will open its doors for free. The authentically restored cottage is the birthplace of famous writer, D.H. Lawrence. Plus there will be Pop-up Proms events taking place.
Visitors will be able to see the historic rooms, gallery space and exhibition areas. Plus, there will be costumed guides on hand to give information and there will be 'Pop-up Proms' events taking place at 11am and 12.15pm, with MishMash Productions, who bring Jazz and Classical Music to community places.
Admission may have to be staggered if it is busy, but visitors should not have to wait longer than 15 minutes for entry.
Directions: Eastwood is just off junction 26 of the M1. The Rainbow One bus service from Nottingham will bring you right to the top of Victoria Street.
