Online event from Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall
Friday 19 March – Saturday 27 March 2021
Tickets: £10
Fringe theatre magician, Dave Alnwick, brings his new show straight to your living room.
Ethereal Magic is a live, fully interactive, virtual magic show brought to you via Zoom. The magic doesn’t just happen on screen, it happens in your own hands.
With theatres and concert halls closed, Dave was determined to take his new show online, connecting with his audience despite social isolation. Inspired by Greek myth, Ethereal Magic explores new ways to achieve the impossible – with only a few household props, the magic will happen in your own home!
Grab some paper, something to write with, scissors, and a deck of cards, if you have them. Not all of the props are essential, but the more you have, the more amazing things will happen.
In order to conjure up a performance as near to a true cabaret-style, up-close and personal interactive magic show as possible, the virtual audience will be limited to 85 screens.
