Join this guided tour into the heart of Sherwood and really get to understand what makes ancient oak woodlands so fascinating.

If you know very little about nature, this walk is the perfect starting point for enhancing your knowledge and appreciation of Sherwood and nature in general!

Ancient Oak woodlands are one of the most fascinating habitats in Britain, sporting unrivalled levels of biodiversity and natural beauty. Sherwood Forest has existed for 11,500 years and is the finest example of an ancient oak forest in the whole of Western Europe.

There is so much to learn that it can be daunting, but an expert guide will make that information much more accessible for novice nature lovers. There is so much to discover and everyone has to start somewhere!

This walk is aimed towards adults who have limited knowledge of nature however all are welcome.
