CAIMH MCDONNELL
"Outstanding" - Daily Telegraph
"Consummate Skill... A Masterclass" Chortle
"Superb" Manchester Evening News
In his decade on the British stand-up circuit, Caimh McDonnell has firmly established himself as the white-haired Irishman whose name nobody can pronounce. He performs regularly at all the major clubs (Comedy Store, Highlight, The Glees, Jongleurs) and is equally at home doing a set or acting as MC. He has also performed internationally, doing stand-up tours of the Far East, the Middle East and once, the near east (Norwich). Caimh returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 2012 with his hour long stand-up show, ‘The Art of Conversation’ and will be playing Edinburgh and other festivals in 2014 with his brand new show 'Southbound and Down'.
When not performing stand-up, Caimh is in great demand as a writer for TV. He has recently worked on the hit BBC2 show ‘The Sarah Millican Television Programme’ and the SKY sports/comedy panel show ‘A League of Their Own’. He also works as a children’s TV writer and was BAFTA nominated for the CBBC animated series ‘Pet Squad’ which he created.
When not doing all of the above, Caimh is proud to be ‘The Voice of London Irish’. Currently going into his ninth season as a key part of the London Irish rugby club match day experience, he acts as the announcer in the Madjeski stadium in Reading, as well as conducting player interviews and writing for the programme.
ADAM ROWE
“Watch out as Adam becomes a household name” – Media City
“Nothing short of prodigious” – The Skinny
“Often outshines much more experienced acts. Young, fresh and consistently hilarious” – Hot Water Comedy Club
Adam Rowe, from Liverpool, first landed on stage back in 2010 and went full-time just two years later. Popular with both audiences and his peers due to his affable nature, Adam is a very likeable person and performer. The, often honest, stories in his stand-up routines leave an audience feeling like they've made a new friend come the end of his performances, and it's not uncommon for them to be screaming for more.
