Monday 17 - Friday 21 February 2020
Tickets: £6 each (For every paying child, one adult ticket is free and a second adult pays just £2)

Shake off winter this February half term and head to Nottingham Playhouse for a fun-filled week of family activities. This February’s Family Fest will be themed around love and happiness. The famous Baby Disco returns, as do drama games, dance, music and shows. Plus new adventures alongside the ever-popular messy play, circus skills, creative making and much more.

Early booking is highly recommended.

The Line-up

Monday 17 February

Singing, Songs and Silliness | 10am - 11am | 11.30am - 12.30pm
A silly, funny (and noisy!) morning of singing with voice games, simple actions and lots of fun! For ages: 0 - 6

​​​​​​Creative Writing – Stories/Poetry | Stories - 11am - 12pm | Poetry - 12.15pm - 1.15pm
Sharpen those pencils and imaginations for lots of fun with words and ideas! For ages: 7 - 11

​​Story Explorers workshop and Up, Up and Away show | Workshop - 2pm and 3.45pm | Performance - 2.30pm and 4.15pm
Gently explore story-telling and drama games together before the show, and then experience the interactive and beautiful performance. For ages: 2 - 7 (BSL Interpreted)​​​​​​

Tuesday 18 February

The Teeny Tiny Orchestra | 10am - 11am | 11.30am - 12.30pm
Prepare to get noisy on the Rhythm Play Express! Crash, play, sing, toot and whistle together. For ages: 2 - 7

Adventures in Paper | 2pm - 3pm
Get your crafting hat on and join us for a fantastic session making things from paper – including adding your own section to our Giant Heart of Friendship! For ages: 4 - 11

Adventures in the Woods Multi-Sensory Workshop | 3pm - 4.30pm
Into the magical beautiful woods we go. Designed for families with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. For ages: 4 - 11

Wednesday 19 February

Art Attack Messy Play | 10am - 11am | 11.30am - 12.30pm | 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Prepare to get messy! Painting, glitter, gloop, slime…if it makes a mess you’ll find it here. For ages: 0 - 5

Fun With Friends Drama Games | 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Explore the world of theatre together through fun games and teamwork. Suitable for all abilities. For ages: 4 - 8

Circus Skills | 1.30pm - 2.30pm | 3pm - 4pm
Hula hooping, poi spinning, plate spinning, diablo, juggling and more. For ages: 5 - 10

Thursday 20 February

The Famous Baby and Toddler Disco! | 10am - 11am | 11.30am - 12.30pm | 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Come and dance, socialise, play party games and sing along with music for the little ones and parents alike. Includes our popular party bags. For ages: 0 - 5

Fun With Friends - Drama Games | 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Explore the world of theatre together through fun games and teamwork. Suitable for all abilities. For ages: 4 - 8

Popstars Dance Class | 3pm - 4pm
Get ready to bop, floss, shuffle, slide and dab like a pop star. For ages: 7 - 11

Friday 21 February

Drums Drums Drums! | 10am - 11am | 11.30 - 12.30pm
Come and spend an hour with an expert percussionist as we go on a magical journey into the world of rhythm, drumming and play. For ages: 0 - 5
