Festival of the Horse at Belvoir Castle

Belvoir Castle
Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September 2021 | 9:30am – 6:30pm
Tickets: Adult £25 | Child (age 8 – 16) £10 | Under 8’s Free

A two-day festival, set against the backdrop of the magnificent Regency caste, offering the very best of equestrian skill and family-friendly entertainment. Excitement is on the cards as crowd favourites, The Knights of Nottingham, return to Belvoir to dazzle audiences with a thrilling display of jousting and pageantry. The International Cossacks will be wowing the crowds at the castle for the very first time with their breath-taking Dzhigtovka trick riding.

Audiences can cheer on King Charles, the merry monarch and his court, as they perform a show-stopping cavalry parade and high paced races, or wonder at the ancient horseback sport of tent pegging and immerse in 17th Century wartime with All the King's Men.

Alongside the action, artisan food vendors and a selection of high-end shopping stalls make for the perfect day out.

With non-stop events and activities, The Festival of the Horse offers a fantastic experience the whole family. Tickets can be booked online at £25 per adult, £10 per child with under 8s going free.
