The School of Artisan Food
£185
The School of Artisan Food believes everyone should be able to enjoy delicious artisan patisserie. That’s why they asked expert pastry chefs and tutors Graham and Rose Dunton to create a selection of gluten-free recipes, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Offering a twist on traditional favourites, each recipe uses artisan baking techniques to produce gluten-free treats that don’t compromise on flavour. Graham and Rose will share the knowledge and skills gained producing patisserie for some of the world’s finest hotels and restaurants, as you make products including:
Sweet and savoury gluten free shortcrust pastry
Salted caramel brownie tart
Almond & pistachio friands with seasonal berries
Mediterranean savoury scones
Tangy Swiss cheese tart
Everything you make will be available for you to take home and enjoy. The School of Artisan Food makes a conscious effort to reduce waste and packaging. Students are welcome to bring their own containers to transport their food home.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, as well as a buffet style lunch. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
Please note: the training room is regularly used to produce food containing gluten and is therefore unsuitable for anyone with a high level of gluten intolerance.
